Process introduction

Crushing and screening

The crushing process uses Xingaonai's jaw crusher, which uses a two-stage crushing process to crush the large pieces of barite mined; the screening process uses Xingaonai's simple and practical circular vibrating screen with large processing capacity, high screening efficiency. The type vibrating screen has a low failure rate, large processing capacity, high screening efficiency, and is easy to operate. It is an ideal equipment for screening barite ores; the jig sorting process Xingaonai uses two types of jigs to separate the crushed materials. Coarse and fine grade barite materials are sorted by jig.

Reselect

For the barite gravity beneficiation process xingaonai, the usual methods are crushing, screening, and jigging beneficiation processes to obtain higher-grade concentrates, and the product grade can reach more than 80%. The jig is used as the main equipment for sorting and purifying barite ore. It has the characteristics of energy saving, high efficiency, environmental protection, etc., and has high economic benefits.

Magnetic separation

Xingaonai usually uses a wet magnetic separator to select some iron-containing minerals such as siderite, which are used as barite raw materials for barium-based medicines that require very low iron content.

Flotation

Xingaonai often adopts flotation method to sort barite ore with very fine particle size and its gravity separation tailings. Depending on the adsorption method, Xingaonai uses anionic collectors such as fatty acid alkyl sulfates and alkyl sulfonates or cationic amine collectors to flotate barite ores.

Production instance

Take Xingaonai’s selection, purification and processing of a certain barite ore as an example. Xingaonai used the flotation process for tailings containing 48%~15% BaS04 to obtain barite concentrate with a grade of BaS04>95%, a specific gravity of 4.35%, and a recovery rate of 81%, achieving good economic benefits.
