1. What are the methods of crushing?
The crushing methods of the crusher are divided into squeezing, splitting, breaking, shearing, impact or blowing, etc. Generally, there is a mixture of multiple modes of action, and there is no single mode of action.
Extrusion crushing: The working panel of the crusher squeezes the incoming materials, as shown in Figure 1. When the compressive stress on the materials reaches the limit of its compressive strength, it is crushed.
Splitting, shearing and crushing: The edges of the crushing working surface are wedged into the material, causing internal tensile stress. When its value exceeds the tensile strength limit of the material, the material will split open, and powder will be locally produced at the contact point between the sharp edge and the material.
Bending, breaking and crushing: Materials sandwiched between working surfaces, such as simply supported beams or multi-supported beams, are subject to concentrated force. The materials are mainly subject to bending stress, but are subject to splitting at the contact point between the working surfaces.
Extrusion shear crushing: a combination of extrusion crushing and shear crushing.
Impact crushing: Impact crushing includes the impact of the high-speed moving crushing body on the crushed materials, the impact of the high-speed moving materials on the fixed wall, and the mutual impact of the moving materials.
2. Crusher can be divided into: according to different working principles and structural characteristics:
01. Jaw crusher
The jaw crusher has an output of 100-1500 tons per hour, feeds 1500~500mm, and can crush to 350~100mm;
The working principle is that the movable jaw is close to the fixed jaw for squeezing and crushing. Generally used in the first crushing process of the crushing production line.
02. Cone crusher
The cone crusher has an output of 100-800 tons per hour, feeds 350~100mm, and can crush to 100~40mm;
The working principle is lamination principle crushing, which is generally used for medium and fine crushing and is suitable for materials with higher hardness.
03. Impact crusher
Impact crusher is also called sand making machine, with an hourly output of 30-500 tons. The crushing is based on the principle of combining "stone on stone" and "stone on iron". The feed can be adjusted within 5 centimeters and the discharge can be adjusted below 5mm.
04. Hammer crusher
The hammer crusher work is continuous. The hammer head on the high-speed rotating rotor is used to crush the stone. The moisture content cannot be greater than 12%. The purchase cost of hammer breaking is relatively low, but the hammer head replacement is fast and the subsequent maintenance cost is high.
